Rome may be the saga of two ordinary Roman soldiers and their own families. A romantic drama of love and betrayal, masters and slaves, and husbands and spouses, it chronicles epic times that saw nov a republic in addition to creation of a kingdom. The show starts in 51 BC, as Gaius Julius Caesar has finished their masterful conquest of Gaul after eight several years of war, and it is getting ready to come back to Rome. Terrified, the aristocracy threatens to prosecute Caesar for war crimes the moment he sets base in Rome. Caesar’s old mentor and friend, Pompey Magnus, tries to foment mutiny so that you can take care of the stability of power. Two of Caesar’s soldiers, Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo, thwart Pompey’s plan as well as in the process, win the eternal appreciation of Caesar together with Julian clan, affording the 2 plebian officers a romantic view for the governing class.
